Such a beautiful and sweet haiku, Ed. I agree that photo does portray something frightening and beautiful about it. I think to me, it’s how the rock formation looks so paper-thin while standing upright, it creates that atmosphere and setting. They kind of look like trees in a way. What also gets me, though, is the heights lol. Still beautiful, though.
